Well this is a super super sneaky one that I haven’t seen before. Check out this email that landed in my inbox this morning. Its from online electronics store Kogan advising that my “order” has been held for a “spot check”.

This I could instantly see as a total scam as I haven’t ordered anything from Kogan – ever!
Kogan would never email a customer and ask for copies of their drivers license and utility bills!They would never require this in order to process an order! This is purely a scam email to attempt to gain your personal information – this leads to situations of fraud/identity theft and other horrible situations.
Please be careful with your emails – most especially at this time of year.
